King Nomar owns a Webmaster Forum which is starting to get pretty big and active. I signed up yesterday and I’m really satisfied with it, been writing like 20+ posts so far Nevertheless, to get the forums even bigger and more active he is holding a linkback contest from his blog. Thinking of making a forum. Don’t know why really. It is fun, relaxing and its like building an emire or something. Get your users, get your sponsors and keep the community alive and you’ll have a salary for doing almost no work. Have moderaters volantarily take care of the forums and earn the profit alone.

The thing is, not everyone can handle forums. Not everyone can get the forums to become alive, and most important of all not everyone can make a huge forum. I do not know why I would succeed on this, but I think it feels pretty interesting and like a fun project. It is not very hard to setup a phpBB forum with Fantastico, and I don’t really need a very nice design or anything from start. The most important is to get people who like it. And I do not think the design is so important for everyone, but ofcoarse it depends on which niche im going to make the forum in.

So thats what I’m doing at the moment, thinking about niches that I could make it for. A webmaster forum would certainly be nice, but I guess the users will require pretty nice design and structure. And most of them would know more than me about webdevelopment. But, I guess it could be like a nice interesting project, both to get me learn more about the web, and to learn how to handle forums. Just make a forum with all categories, be active on other webmaster forums and try to get alteast some people to sign up and start having conversations with.

It’s not really a hurry, and as they say (don’t know really if it is the same in english as in swedish) shortcuts is always detours (?).Atleast it’s someting about trying to take shortcuts to success will just be a waste of time, and make it take longer until you really succeed than it would if you would do it the real way. And the success that you gain from not taking a shortcut would probably be even better.

So yea, while writing this post I got it figured out I like blogging, it’s like some kind of brainstorming or whatever it’s called. I don’t know how fun this is to read really, or even if anyone even got this far down through this text, but it’s nice to vent your ideas and get them down on “paper”.

Anyways, as said above. I will try making some kind of webmaster forum. Nothing serious, just me as a member, having made some posts and will try to be as active as possible on other webmaster forums to try to get people to sign up. The first members are the hardest to get, but I think it can be done that way. Will post here how it went, if I have the dedication to keep it for a while.

A reason why I like to make a webmaster forum is that I like the internet and making webpages, the money figures, statistics etc, and the communication it brings. Another one is that webmasters are more likely to use an alexa toolbar than people in a forum about art, or something like that.

While checking upwards in what i’ve written it doesn’t seem like as much as I thought I’d written Anyways, I will make this forum, try to make everyone that signs up welcome and try to get it active. As noted before I will post an update here on the blog. Be well and cya

Wtf is this? Some days ago I had a PR of 4 and now its back to 0? I havn’t been active, but my links can’t just have disapeared, can they? And if some did, I would still have a PR of like 1 or 2 wouldn’t I? PR 0 is a bit too hard imo, I hope its a bug.

I’ve decided to soon start building my project. It is pretty complicated to build the website i’m thinking of, but I’m sure I can handle it. I’ve gotta write some F.A.Q pages and similiar stuff, building the whole php thingy and thinking of ways to promote my site, and make an appealing design. If all of these four is done perfectly I will succeed. I cannot really reveal what it is im thinking of making, but as soon as it’s online, or some weeks after I will announce it.

The thing is succeeding with such a thing will make me quite a lot of money. And since I’m very young and have almost nothing to pay for,  it will increase my standards alot Such a shame I lack time and motivations, the most important things in business.

Hello there, long time no see. I’ve been reading some blogs regulary but havn’t taken the time to write anything myself lately. Today I found that all feedburner pictures don’t show, on any blog you visit. I don’t know if this is just like a 5 minute problem or if it will last longer. Probably they’ll fix it pretty soon. Just needed something to write about, got bad coincidence for not writing. But now its done And to update for my project that I have, I havn’t worked much on it. Don’t really know where to start, and I have a lot to do in school nowadays. And when I finally got some time over I’d like to go to the gym, being with friends or relaxing infront of computer games or reading blogs ofcoarse.

But soon I gotta start focusing on this project. If every single part of it, design, content, marketing is timed right and done perfectly, I will succeed pretty well and won’t have to work much for the rest of my life. Can’t really explain more, but i promise you its a nice idea And no, its not a make money quick pyramid scam or something like that..

Been havning a lot of tests and such in school this week, and next week I’m having a big test in physics, so I havn’t really been in contact to this environment much lately, and probably won’t next week either. I havn’t worked anything on my project, but I might keep doing that for a bit this week.

Last week I mentioned I got 3 pages indexed in Google, got a bit worried. Now it’s up at 70, which sounds pretty good to me. Got a bit over 60 posts in the blog, so. Still got 3 pages indexed in MSN though, but I guess they’re just a bit slow

Since the lack of both moviation and inspiration to write on this blog, I havn’t written here for a while. For now I’m mostly focusing on developing my latest project. I will come back and write here on the blog a little now and then and just write some about the web or whatever I feel like.

For now I just feel like focusing on school, my current project, and ofcoarse my social life So not much time over for this blog, which is a bit sad. But as I said I’ll try to post a little now and then.

Checked how many pages I got indexed in Google today and to my disapointment it was only three. How can that be? I got around 60 articles and the blog existed for more than a half year, with a main page of PR4. I can’t get why this happend to me. If I remember it right I got more than three pages indexed before my 6 (or was it 7?) month break.

I’ve been thinking about some business ideas lately. I came up with some pretty nice ideas, which I belive ain’t too far from reality.

There’s one idea I especially like. It is pretty simple, and as soon as I get some visitors to the site it will be full of traffic for some years, and the work to keep it up will be minimal. It’s sad I can’t really post any details about it.

When you come up with these ideas you really belive in, there’s always some obstacles you’ll need to get through. In this case I need someone to code and design it. I’m not sure how much that would cost, but before I try to hire someone to do it for me I will attempt to do it on my own.

This “project” will be what I’m gonna focus the most of my time on in the future. I will still try to post at this blog regulary, but it might not be as often. And probably nothing about the site I’m building, since it’s a bit of a secret.

Introduction

I just learned how to take advantage of this kind of promotion. Might not be new to everyone. Most of the people reading this will come from that kind of promotion. Just to explain how great it is im gonna show the numbers of visitors to this blog October 2 and October 3. October 2 I got 12 visitors to this blog. October 3, the day after, I got 354 visitors, with almost no effort. In my goals of the month I made a bit optimistic goal of 500 unique visitors over the whole month. I will probably reach it today.

1. Write a Quality Article

Write a quality article that you know people will want to read. You don’t want to promote something noone likes to read. Not only because you won’t get much out of the visits, but because the better content you promote the more people will visit it, and hopefully stay

2. Stumble Upon / Digg

Add your quality article to Stumble Upon and/or Digg. If people like what they see you will get LOADS of visitors in notime, and hopefully some new readers. Yesterday I only added the articles to Stumble Upon, but I guess it doesn’t hurt to add it to Digg too. Be careful not to add your own website to these networks too often, since it might get you or your address might get banned.
